We are looking for a HR Generalist that is excited to bring Pulumi’s cloud programming model to the world. You will be a part of realizing a vision where every developer can harness the power of the cloud.
As an HR Generalist at Pulumi, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR functions and enhancing the employee experience. You will collaborate with various teams to implement HR policies, assist with recruitment, and facilitate employee engagement initiatives. This role will be reporting to the Senior Director of People. You will engage in operating existing processes as well as helping to build new initiatives as the company continues to scale.

While Pulumi is headquartered in Seattle, WA., we are dedicated to being a remote first company. This role will be located remotely in Seattle, WA.
In This Role You Will:
- Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Support and maintain HR System records which can include: data entry, I9 & other record keeping, and other general HR administrative duties.
- Will assist and support with general compensation and benefits projects.
- Partner on annual programs such as annual compensation review, policy changes/rollouts, engagement survey, and annual performance review process.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and encourage open communication.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with legal regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist in brainstorming and/or organizing team-building activities, events, and recognition programs that foster camaraderie and collaboration.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees to discuss concerns, ideas, and feedback.
We’re Looking For Someone With:
- 2+ years of experience in HR or a related role.
- Self-starter, who is comfortable working collaboratively and independently
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and best practices
- Experience analyzing data, diagnosing issues, and making business recommendations
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong understanding of best practices in workplace culture and employee engagement strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with employees at all levels.
Compensation:
- Base Salary Hiring Range: $85,000 - $125,000
- All full time employee offers at Pulumi include base salary, bonus or variable, equity and benefits (details below).
