Astera Labs is looking for a HR Generalist Intern to support our rapid organizational growth and provide exceptional employee experience. This 12 week internship will provide professional growth and exposure to all facets HR including compensation, benefits, immigration, operations, recruiting and HR data analytics. Based in Santa Clara, this position requires in-person presence.

What you will do:

  • Support HR operations
  • Assist with implementation of new HRIS system
  • Support other areas of HR such as Benefits, Employee Relations, and immigration
  • Manage confidential information in a discrete way
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • A junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field
  • Human resources, administrative, and/or coordinating experience preferred
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, & Excel)
  • Experience with ADP and Greenhouse considered a plus
  • Strong people skills with the ability to communicate (both verbal and written)
  • Work effectively with a diverse range of individuals
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • High level of energy, drive, initiative, and commitment
  • Able to work onsite 40 hours per week
