Fluidra’s looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Sparks, MD.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Human Resources and functioning in a shared services environment, the HR Generalist position requires a senior HR professional who can work closely with management across all key HR areas, with a specific focus on recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning. Incumbent must be able to utilize core skills such as communication, influencing, facilitation, problem resolution and critical thinking to implement HR initiatives and effect organizational change. Additionally, you will:

Assist, advise and coach all levels of management on Human Resources issues and leadership development

Provide HR expertise in employee relations, and compliance, protecting the rights of employees as well as the rights and responsibilities of the company. Handling employee issues, including disciplinary actions, conducting internal employee relations investigations and drafting related documentation with minimum supervision

Drive on-boarding processes to ensure successful introduction to Fluidra

Effectively create highly professional written and oral HR communications, including executive summaries, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, public speaking, ER investigations, report writing; maintain professional interactions with all levels of employees (executive to direct labor)

Originate and lead HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance, world-class culture that emphasizes our values (innovate and pursue excellent, passion for results, user-driven and customer focused, respect and develop each other, lean thinking, honesty and trust, and teamwork) and goal attainment to support the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce across all levels within the organization

Drive companywide engagement activities. Initiating, proposing and implementing with a successful outcome.

Efficiently manages work flow and deadlines, performs short and long term planning, makes policy and program recommendations, and recommends/initiates new approaches, policies and procedures to support continuous improvement and LEAN activities in both department efficiency and services provided.

Conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program

Provide HR expertise in employee relations, and compliance. Protecting the rights of employees as well as the rights and responsibilities of the company.

Handling employee issues, including disciplinary actions, conducting internal employee relations investigations and drafting related documentation

Build a strong consultative relationship with assigned departments. Act as key HR point of contact, trusted advisor, and sounding board for business unit managers, supervisors, team leads, and employees.

Manage the exit interview process, providing timely follow up to managers.

Completes special projects by clarifying project objective, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information.

WHAT WE SEEK

3 + years experience as a HR Generalist

Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral
-
High Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong project management, presentation and facilitation skills

Ability to work in a demanding and dynamic fast-paced environment with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines

Strong desire to consistently perform at high levels, achieve the best, motivate others and commit to creating a world class HR function/team

Approachable, professional, positive attitude that leads to the creation of effective relationships with internal and external customers

Detail oriented

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
EDUCATION

BA/BS Degree preferred (major in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Management or related field)
