HR Employee Experience Representative

We are seeking an ambitious HR Specialist to join our HR Workforce Operations team. The position offers the flexibility to work from home on some days of the week. The HR Specialist will report directly to the Global Workforce Operations (GWO) Hub Director - Northern & Central Europe.

You will be located in Oegstgeest, but you will be providing virtual support services to several sites, including all Dutch sites such as Oegstgeest, Leiden, Alphen aan den Rijn, and other countries within Northern & Central Europe. Our cloud-based case management solution will be used to provide these services.

The Employee Experience Representative, who is a part of the Global Workforce Operations (GWO) team, is responsible for establishing genuine, trustworthy relationships with employees. They are enthusiastic about creating a positive experience for the Avery Dennison workforce. The representative offers high-quality initial support services to all employees with a great deal of expertise, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. This involves assessing and analysing the employee's request or concern, quickly understanding the situation, determining the appropriate resolution and/or escalation in collaboration with HR partners, and communicating the resolution and escalation to the customer by established service levels.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in resolving employee inquiries for employees in the Northern/Central hub, initially in the Netherlands, and become an expert in the process.

- Prepare and create the necessary data and documentation for processing changes such as personal data, job information, reporting line changes, compensation changes, etc. into the HR system.

- Prepare employment contracts for new hires and other employee documentation.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and assist hiring managers through our onboarding system.

- Execute HR systems data transactions.

- Respond to questions on administrative HR procedures and practices via email, phone, chat, and case management system.

- Answer HR policy-related questions, guide managers and employees, and escalate issues as appropriate.

- Educate employees on services available to them and encourage self-service tools and other systems.

- Ensure high-quality standards for all GWO activities, initiatives, and tasks within designated areas of responsibility, adhering to all service-level agreements established by the GWO organisation.

- Identify outdated knowledge articles and the need to create new ones.

- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and challenge current practices and processes to influence stakeholders.

- Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).

- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems.

- Experience with HR systems transaction management.

- Ability to generate a sense of urgency with an understanding of when to escalate issues.

- Ability to handle diverse and confidential information requiring extreme accuracy, independent judgment, and discretion.

- Ability to document processes and make recommendations for improvements.

- Flexibility and willingness to cover other tasks as needed and adapt to ongoing changes.

- Superior written communication skills required.

- Ambitious to deliver the best employee and workforce experience and become an ambassador for service excellence using service delivery platforms or in-person when necessary.
