JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: HR Coordinator   

Department: Human Resources

Location: Greeley, CO

Reports to: HR Supervisor


Principle Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct weekly new hire orientation, including the administration of I-9 documentation and benefit enrollment.
  • Receive and direct employee relation issues.
  • Maintain and regularly update HR related databases and reports.
  • Assist in the maintenance of employee files.
  • Facilitate Leave of Absence requests, including FMLA.
  • Respond to unemployment claims and attend hearings on the Company’s behalf.
  • Recruiting candidates to fill open roles.
  • Process post-offer recruitment items.
  • Be an advocate of what a positive relationship with HR looks like by building organizational trust and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Support the rollout and execution of HR projects and new initiatives.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-Related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assist with HR tasks which may include, but is not limited to, applicant screening, onboarding, orientation, team member activities and events, performance issues and evaluations policy administration and training.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient and professional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft-based software.
  • Able to master new software systems specific to HR in an efficient manner.
  • Strong disposition, able to work at a high-level, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational & time-management skills.
  • Previous HR experience, preferred.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s or associates degree preferred.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Better Futures Program: 2 Year Community College tuition paid for you or your dependents;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
