We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to support our HR and recruitment activities under a 6-month fixed term contract to support change across the business as it continues to rapidly scale. This position is the point of liaison between our employees and management and, as such, occupies a very 'hands on' role. The successful candidate will join Opus 2’s Human Resources small but enthusiastic team and will report into the HR Director. This role will have wide range of responsibilities throughout the whole employee lifecycle, together with the opportunity to provide first line support to employees and managers. What you'll be doing
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries. Ensure that a high quality and proactive service is provided to all internal and external customers across multiple geographies.
- Ensure employee data on the HR software platforms for all staff is accurate and up to date, ensuring that data protection requirements are met.
- Provide quarterly reporting metrics and KPIs for the Executive team.
- Support the HR Director conduct policy reviews to ensure they are up to date and in line with employment legislation.
- Inform and update managers and staff with relevant HR information on policies and procedures and escalate enquiries to the HR Director where required.
- Support the recruitment team with CV screening, arranging of interviews and offers of employment.
- Responsible for the new starter and on/offboarding process; conduct inductions, manage background and reference and probation checks and processing leavers.
- Key point of contact for administering benefits across the UK & EMEA teams.
- Supporting the HR team on core processes (performance and pay reviews, employee relations cases, strategic HR projects & initiatives) across the employee journey.
- Lead core communication and engagement initiatives to promote a positive Company culture through newsletters, new starter, staff birthdays, anniversaries notifications, as well as celebrate key events and milestones across the organisation.
- Key owner of rolling out bi-annual engagement surveys and reviewing data with the HR Director for action planning.
- Actively participate in the global staff engagement team, introducing new engagement activities and nurturing a positive working environment.
- Support the companies CSR team, helping to plan and organise fundraising events and work closely with the organisations charities to maintain a strong relationship.
- To fulfil all other duties and tasks as required by the HR Director within the scope of capabilities.
Requirements
What we're looking for in you
- Solid HR administration or Coordinator experience (tech or start up background is advantageous).
- Bright and engaging, with a willingness to learn and use initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, time management and the ability to juggle tasks, adapt and work under pressure.
- Experience in supporting international teams with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Team player with a flexible attitude to meet the changing needs of the business and our clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in using HRIS platforms.
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified or currently working towards qualification.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating an ability to share knowledge / advice with colleagues and aid others where appropriate.
- Must always act with integrity and professionalism.
