Who You Are:

The Manager, HRBP serves as a primary HRBP contact for the business, and territories both domestic and international (where applicable). This role has the ability to anticipate needs, diagnose problems, identify and drive appropriate solutions, and collaborate well across teams and functions to build and deliver results. In this role, it is important to strike the right balance between speed/flexibility and process/compliance keeping a global perspective on the various organizations. This position is pivotal in aligning strategic objectives with the talent strategy.

What You're Good At:

Org Design & Workforce Planning

  • Utilizing the 3-year model establish workforce planning mechanisms that enable the HRBP function to support business strategies guiding org design, talent management, succession planning, and hiring decisions. Build payroll models that provide leaders an overview of talent make-up, spend, hierarchy, and skill sets.
  • Establish trust and business partnership in building strong teams by coaching managers through scenario planning and addressing situations in a way that drives impactful leadership capabilities. This includes training newly hired or newly promoted leaders on the Nutrabolt leadership format, while also providing support through regular meetings constantly pulsing the state of the organization and resolving issues.
  •  Assess organization’s training needs and conduct/coordinate 1:1 and/or group training sessions as appropriate. This includes monitoring of career development plans, skill gap analysis, and action planning. Partner with the other HR team leaders to identify training needs and implementing.
  • Plan and support organization design to implement new structures, roles and/or processes that create speed and efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands, with a focus on achieving and exceeding departmental goals
  • Respond timely to employee issues and handle with the appropriate action by intaking the information and understanding when to handle directly or escalate; as well as providing adequate follow up to settle issues. Partner with HR team and leaders to determine if a process, procedure, policy, or other business practice should be improved or updated to mitigate future issues

Compliance

  • Responsible for compliance understanding and application for employee handbooks, contracts, agency and vendor relationships, and legal partnerships. Additionally responsible for staying informed of international, country, regional, state, and local policies and practices respective to Nutrabolt regions where employees are employed or may be employed. Identifies compliance risks and provides recommended solutions.
  • Partners with HR leadership to recommend updates to polices to drive compliance, employee engagement, or to proactively mitigate risk.

Employee Experience

  • Accountable for owning the implementation of onboarding and offboarding practices, processes, tools, and resources by designing resources and approaches that ensure efficient ramp-up based on functional role impact and capabilities
  • Review and analyze departmental people data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience. This includes routine assessment of departmental metrics, including turnover, engagement data, recognition programs, mobility rate, etc; submission of data to HR Leadership; and developing action items based on inferences made from data.
  • Work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for employee engagement action plans. This includes working collaboratively in the HR department to determine new engagement strategies that can be implemented within limited teams or across the organization.
  • Facilitate the performance review process through proactive planning, education, communication, and resource implementation. Support leaders in driving a performance culture by assessing how KPIs align to business objectives. Provide a comprehensive view of organizational insights, workforce plans, succession plans, and employee performance to create scenarios that help leaders make meaningful business decisions, keeping budget and long-term objectives in mind.

General Oversights

  • Develop HRBP team through regular coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship.
  • Partner with HR Director on issues requiring escalation to Executive Leadership, including global compliance programs, organizational design, workforce planning, compensation, and employee relations.
  • You will support a comprehensive talent strategy with leadership to ensure successful execution of our goals.

What You Contribute: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • PHR certification preferred
  • 5+ years HR experience, preferably in a generalist role or a variety of specialist roles, and 3+ years’ experience in an HRBP role
  • Ability to relate to and coach managers, leaders, and employees at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions 
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong attention to detail • Proactive problem solver, able to navigate a fast-paced environment
  • Business, Financial and Industry Acuity
  • Ability to “influence without authority” • Knowledge of employment laws both domestic and international
  • Ability to work within Excel for financial payroll modeling, metric tracking, and project management
  • Experience and strong ability to use PowerPoint, Sharepoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to speak and present to groups both virtually and in-person
