Your New Role

You will join a highly motivated people focused HR team, who are partnering across a diverse portfolio of programs and customer groups. Our business employs a varied group of specialist staff with diverse technical expertise.

This role will require both strategic and operational HR management of all facets of the employee lifecycle including but not limited to:

  • Employee development
  • Performance management
  • Dispute resolution, and
  • Interpretation of industrial instruments, reward, and recognition and employee engagement.

It will be a fast paced and varied role…be ready to roll up your sleeves as no two days are the same!

About You

  • You are a HR Business Partner with experience working collaboratively as a trusted advisor across all areas of people management and development including HR Operations, Employee Relations and Organisational Capability.
  • You have experience in building leadership capability, commerciality and strong engagement skills.
  • You will thrive in a hands on role and be comfortable balancing both the day to day matters and more strategic initiatives.
  • You have experience working with all levels of the business including senior leaders, executives and have experience managing and planning HR initiatives from strategy to operational delivery of work within a project driven environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Working knowledge and experience in multiple HR disciplines including Retention, Talent Development, Compensation, Performance Management, HR Analytics, WHS, Diversity and respective employment legislation
  • A commercial HR mindset with the ability to balance day-to-day operational requirements, and an ability to support strategic HR initiatives
  • Experience in Government and Defence Industry would be highly regarded, but is not essential
  • Ability to think creatively and develop solutions to complex problems
  • A Baseline security clearance or willingness to obtain one
