THE ROLE

We are looking to hire an immediately available established HR Business Partner to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract and support one of our Senior People Partners. We need someone who is keen to hit the ground running and loves autonomy. You’ll be responsible for guiding, advising, and challenging our senior leaders on all people matters.
YOUR TEAM
The group HR team support 550 wonderful team members split across our Manchester and London head office’s. Partnering with our Technology, Legal, Finance, Facilities, Catering, Procurement teams to name just a few! Working from our Manchester, Dale Street office you will report into the Senior People Partner and help share the workload from day one, alongside a HR Advisor and a HR Assistant as well as a wider people team of 45 specialists.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
No two days here are ever the same therefore we’ve listed some of your key responsibilities below, but we are a close-knit team who all roll up our sleeves and get stuck into whatever comes our way:
· Be one of the primary points of contact for our senior managers and leaders in the group functions, providing guidance and support on a range of people matters.
· Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand our varying business needs and provide proactive solutions.
· You’ll play an active role in managing employee relations queries and cases. You will need to be able to advice on mental health, flexible working, maternity, paternity, probations, investigations, disciplinary, problem solving and performance.
· Collaborating with leaders on the management of the performance review process including annual and mid-year reviews and goal setting, identifying top talent and improvement areas
· Partnering with our internal Talent Acquisition team on vacancy requirements, staying close to leaders and working with them to shape the needs of their department and crafting and scoping job roles and structures.
· Working with the Talent & Development teams to roll out any learning initiatives, workshops, or business updates
· Proactively support and suggest ideas to the Senior HR Business Partner in developing strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives
· Ensure ensure all internal systems, policies and procedures are kept up to date and in line with current legislation
· Coach and develop the HR Advisor and HR Assistant to grow their capability and continual development.

MORE ABOUT YOU
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
· You thrive in a fast paced and commercial business and have previous experience of this.
· Strong ER knowledge and proven experience in managing across in all areas such as mental wellbeing, flexible working requests, probations, investigations, disciplinary, problem solving and performance management
· We like to move fast and don’t like to be controlled by too many rules or processes, so you’ll need to be confident making commercial decisions quickly and autonomously.
· Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· Previous knowledge in organisational design with the ability to draft and present structure charts (viso and canva)
