We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Singapore on a contract basis. The duration of the role is 6 months, and we are seeking applications from those interested in part time opportunities. Unfortunately, we are not able to hire for a permanent role, so please apply if you are committed to taking on a contract role only. 

The Human Resource Business Partner serves as a crucial link between the operations of the People team and Civica's objective of becoming the Global Gov Tech Champion.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for a Seasoned HR Business Partner who possesses exceptional communication skills to connect with diverse and influential teams. The ability to quickly establish strong relationships with stakeholders is essential in order to deliver exceptional customer service to our teams in Singapore, India, and Australia.

Requirements

Principal responsibilities and tasks:

The HRBP in Singapore is an individual contributor who partners with global teams, to align and implement our People Strategy within our Singapore operations.  This role works closely with global functional & market Business Partners to ensure a consistent employee experience at Civica, and supporting local leadership and line managers on the implementation of our core people processes.       

 Typical duties include:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team that reside in and outside of Singapore, using their deep understanding of HR knowledge and the organisation to provide insights and guidance on strategic decisions. This includes developing talent acquisition strategies, implementing workforce planning, and initiating activities to enhance employee engagement
  • Ensure alignment of all members within the business by working closely with the People team, other business partners and the leadership team
  • Implement global People initiatives within Singapore, such as performance management, talent planning and management, and career development.  Ensure leaders are equipped with the necessary skills within their respective teams
  • Identify and address complex workforce challenges
  • Persistently review and provide feedback to enhance efficiency and improve the employee experience to the People team
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration through change strategies that empowers employees to take ownership, establishes agile practices, and encourages continuous learning and improvement

 This role is key to helping us achieve our business priority of one Civica, in Singapore.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR with experience in a similar role, providing strategic and operational guidance to leaders
  • Problem solving and Decision-making skills
  • Leadership capabilities
  • Previous experience in implementing HR and people-centred initiatives and programs, with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental HR processes
  • Demonstrated track record of providing professional HR generalist advice, including employee relations, change management, and performance management
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and analyze data to address business issues
  • Exceptional attention to detail
