The role
The HR Administrator will be a member of a very experienced HR Team and will report to the HR Manager. They will provide fully generalist HR support to our colleagues at all levels across the business and will be an active participant in delivering the HR strategy through specific HR projects.

What you’ll be doing
- The role supports the HR Manager and HR Business Partner’s in an administrative capacity.
- Provides support and guidance for our colleagues on a range of HR processes in line with our policies and best practice.
- To be the point of contact for all day to day operational HR issues.
- To support continuous improvement activities.
- Responsibility for adherence to HR processes and policies to include new starters; contractual changes and leavers.
- Responsibility for ensuring all our online people systems like Workable and CoreHR are kept up to date, and that Payroll is advised of changes in a timely manner.
- Issue appropriate correspondence relative to changes to terms and conditions of employment and probationary periods as required.
- Supporting the HR Business Partners producing HR Metrics and management reporting.
- Responsibility for day to day HR administration to include recruitment, onboarding, contract changes, probationary reviews, performance reviews, remuneration and benefits support and induction and annual training.
- Responsibility for ensuring day to day practices are consistent especially in relation to contracts.
- Complete exit interviews and identify actions as a result of emerging trends.
- Supporting Managers with recruitment process.
- Responsibility for ensuring CoreHR is kept up to date by regular reporting to check for gaps, and inconsistencies.
- Responsible for supporting the HR Business Partners in periodically auditing/cleansing CoreHR if necessary, to ensure the data is fit for purpose and current.
- Shared responsibility with HR Business Partners for monitoring the HR inbox and ensuring electronic filing of e mails.
- Responsible for electronically filing documentation in the appropriate way on Workable and CoreHR to include archiving.
- Supporting in raising POs when required across site.
- Responsibility for ensuring careers page and Intranet site is updated and process is consistent across the Organisation.
- Responsibility for supporting the HR Business Partners in our approach to communications and engagement.
- Supporting employee forums as appropriate.
About you
- Experienced HR Administrator with the ability to work in an agile environment
- Strong customer service skills.
- An interest in HR or a recent HR Graduate.
- Working towards or willing to works towards a CIPD qualification.
- Time management.
- Ability to maintain data integrity and handle confidential information
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Passionate about driving people initiatives that help enhance performance and motivate colleagues.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
- Payroll experience preferred however not essential as full training will be provided
