HQ - Senior Commercial Counsel (Madrid)

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Commercial Counsel to join Job&Talent’s headquarters team.

In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting the business by reviewing client contracts, ensuring consistency in high-risk clauses, and assisting with contract remediation. You will work closely with various departments to ensure contracts are in force, valid, and meet the company's operational needs, including assignments of receivables to our working capital SPV.

What you'll be doing...

  • Supporting the business by reviewing client contracts
  • Seek to achieve consistency in high risk clauses in contracts
  • Assist with contract remediation of current contracts
  • Ensure contracts terms allow for assignment of receivables to the working capital SPV
  • Ongoing audit of contracts to ensure in force, valid, correctly extended or amended
  • Improve J&Ts standard template T&Cs
  • Create playbook on negotiating contracts and key clauses
  • Work with Ironclad contract management solution
  • Work with country managers and local counsel in the different jurisdictions 

You have...

  • A Degree in Law in Spain
  • At least 3 years of experience in a prestigious Law firm,  practicing as an attorney
  • At least 2 years as in-house attorney 
  • International exposure
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves to dive into a diverse range of tasks and bring them to a successful conclusion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying legal advice and collaborating with internal teams
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial for reviewing contracts and ensuring legal accuracy
  • Adherence to high ethical standards and professional conduct
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Nice if you also have...

  • Experience in staffing industry or tech industry.
  • Experience negotiating with large counterparties
