We are looking for a Legal Counsel for our Group Legal team to provide legal support across all departments.
This is the ultimate generalist role, providing substantial access to various facets of the business and key matters within the company. You'll take ownership of a broad range of projects, including commercial contracts, software licences, supplier contracts, trade marks, commercial partnerships, employment law, data protection and finance related projects. In the context of our business you will also be required to stay on top of relevant new regulatory developments in the recruitment industry in key global jurisdictions, and you will help on new product development and associated commercial documentation. This is a highly-visible role in a fast-moving business, so you must be able to communicate confidently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Contract Review and Drafting: Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, vendor agreements and other relevant legal documents
- Legal Advisory: Providing legal advice to internal departments on legal issues related to personnel and business operations
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other departments, such as Human Resources and Finance, to ensure comprehensive management of legal matters
- Policies and Procedures: Developing and maintaining internal policies and procedures that comply with laws and protect the company's interests
- Legal Risk Management: Identifying and managing legal risks associated with staffing company activities
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the company complies with applicable labor laws and regulations
- Dispute Resolution: Participating in the resolution of legal disputes
- Internal Training: Providing internal training on legal issues relevant to staff and management

You have…
- A Bachelor's Degree in Law
- 2-4+ years of private practice experience with a top-tier law firm or in-house experience in tech
- A focus on corporate, commercial or finance law with an understanding of privacy law and corporate transactions
- A willingness to roll up your sleeves to dive into a diverse range of tasks and bring them to a successful conclusion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying legal advice and collaborating with internal teams
- Strong attention to detail is crucial for reviewing contracts and ensuring legal accuracy
- Adherence to high ethical standards and professional conduct
- Fluent in English and Spanish
