Job Summary
- Responsible for cutting, fitting, and assembling of hose and hose fittings and inspects or tests completed assembly.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, crimp, etc., industrial hydraulic hose
- Test and check hose assemblies per shop procedures
- Read and understand work orders
- Clean and package hose assemblies for shipping
- Keep clean work area
- To use all the PPE as recommended by the Safety Policy of the company and report to the authorities concerned regarding the accidents and near miss incidents.
- To suggest to the management methods of improvements of maintenance practices.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- National Diploma, Trade test-1, 2 & 3 in mechanical fitting/mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Minimum of (3 - 10) years experience in HEMM and LMV
Skills and Competencies
Ability to read and understand work orders
Ability to read tape measure and caliper
Ability to handle material up to 100 pounds
Hydraulic power unit fabrication skills helpful but not required
