Description

As an HMGA Sales Representative you will be providing service and quotes on non-Horace Mann products and building relationships with Agents as well as responding to clients via email, phone, or internet/web. This is a remote position. 

Responsibilities:

  • Service and provide quotes on non-Horace Mann Products.
  • Work with Third Party Vendors to get quotes/application processed.
  • Bind sales.
  • Understand, educate, and implement new programs to positively affect new sales and customer retention.
  • Tracking and reporting, quality review, securing approval, payments, and signatures to bind policies is critical in the roles requiring licensing.
  • Maintain daily contact volume to ensure production goals are met for the division.
  • Utilize sales skills to ensure proper close rations and service levels are met.
  • Sell products with the processes established by the HMGA (ie. Small commercial polies are presented directly to the client).

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent, required.
  • Two years of college or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain Property and Casualty in all states where Horace Mann conducts business for property and casualty lines of business.
  • Remote position, however, must possess flexibility to handle multiple changing priorities and time zones in states where Horace Mann conducts business.
  • Proven problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • 2+ years of insurance related sales experience.
