We are seeking a HOPES Program Supervisor to join our HOPES Program. As a HOPES Program Supervisor, you will Shine Hope as you help develop and oversee the implementation of the HOPES contract including overseeing and developing Parent Educators utilizing the Parents as Teachers curriculum. You will ensure and maintain compliance to contract as well as fidelity to Parents as Teachers model. You will also ensure documentation is accurate and timely. What you'll do:
- Ensure compliance to HOPES contract as well as fidelity to Parents as Teachers model.
- Recruit and engage families to receive services and determine family eligibility.
- Prepares and monitors budgets in addition to managing program resources to insure efficient and appropriate usage. Performs other administrative duties as required.
- Work with program staff to assess educational needs of adult and child clients in all assigned program areas; strategize, develop, and implement programs to target those client specific needs.
- Identify and develop relevant curriculum for each assigned program area, ensuring that curriculum meets the needs of the clients and conforms with all Buckner guidelines, licensing regulations or contract requirements governing the program.
- Provide direct childcare staff with training and technical assistance necessary to implement educational programming. Provide ongoing training for CDC staff in lesson planning, classroom management, and delivery of curriculum.
- Ensure HOPES staff have adequate materials, supplies, and equipment to implement quality educational programming. Manage program resources to ensure they are used efficiently and appropriately.
- Identify resources within the community to supplement educational programming. Represent Buckner programs in the community through attendance at events, meetings, training sessions, etc.
- Plan and organize field trips as well as off-campus and on-campus activities for adults and children who participate in Buckner programs.
- Provide consultation as necessary to Parent Educators for the purpose of problem-solving and quality control; periodically accompany Parent Educators on home visits.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3-5 years prior related experience required or equivalent combination of work experience and education in social services or related field.
- Requires experience in early childhood intervention/prevention programs or developmental programs.
- Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner’s insurance policy. Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner.
- Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force continuously to move objects and/or people.
- Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
