Our Homologation department is looking for an Engineer to join the team.
Role:
- Perform activities within the scope of projects of Homologation of ADAS systems, Automated Vehicle and related vehicle regulations
- Manage projects of Cybersecurity and Software update certification
Main responsibilities:
- Analysis of manufacturer's documentation
- Prototype assessment, preparation, instrumentation and test, both at IDIADA HQ and in other locations worldwide
- Analysis of test results
- Homologation reports
- Manage the whole approval process including multidisciplinary teams
- Meetings with manufacturers and approval authorities
- Participation in R+D projects
Education:
- Degree in Industrial/mechanical/telecommunications/electronics/IT/aeronautical engineering. (MSc valued)
- Other engineering degrees or master acceptable depending on competences and experience.
Experience:
- Experience in automotive engineering valuable.
- Knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation or standards.
- Knowledge or experience in measuring systems, procedures and equipments.
- Knowledge in new automotive technologies related to General Safety Regulation 2: intelligent vehicle safety and dynamic systems
Languages:
- High level of English (other languages valued, French, Italian, German,...).
