Title: Homeowner State Manager

About You:
We are looking for a Homeowner (State) Insurance Product Manager, who will be accountable for the compliance and state management of the Homeowners line of business in their group of assigned states. This position will work closely with State Filings, Compliance, Legal, and Actuarial to develop and execute on company objectives related to compliance, growth and profit.
What You'll Do:

Help develop and execute plans and tactics developed to achieve compliance, growth and profit
- Collaborate with Actuarial and State Filings on rate plan development and execution including supporting rate, rule, and form filings
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to find optimal resolution on compliance related needs brought about thru internal and external channels
- Oversee countrywide (or multi-state) projects from start to finish as directed including roll out to all needed states and products
- Document changes into system requirements and assist in testing in both pre and post production environments
- Manage the company strategy in assigned states
- Respond to regulatory changes within assigned states
- Assist in prioritizing product and rate system projects
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business or analytical discipline
- At least seven years of personal lines insurance experience in a related position (underwriting, product, pricing, finance, etc..)
- Demonstrated ability to partner with actuary, underwriting and other stakeholders in development and execution of statewide and nationwide insurance product changes
- Self-Starter mentality when it comes to proactively running with assigned work
- Strong analytical skills supporting data driven decisions
Nice to Haves:
- Prior experience with a Top 20 Personal Lines Homeowners writer
- Prior Product Management experience in the Home line of business
- Experience managing strategic homeowner companywide projects aimed to enhancing top or bottom line performance
