HL7 and DICOM Software Engineer - (CONTRACTOR)

TLDR

Create HL7/FHIR interfaces and ensure seamless integration of healthcare systems while collaborating closely with IT teams and vendors in a dynamic start-up culture.

Create HL7/FHIR compatible interfaces between internal A.I. system and hospital systems
Work closely with IT teams, clients (usually hospitals), and various IT vendors
Responsible for ensuring integration of various heterogeneous systems and networks and transfer of patient information within on-prem network and/or cloud network and to ensure everything runs smoothly
Other responsibilities include writing codes, reviewing codes, and testing various systems
Once deployed to the customer's site, troubleshooting and on-going maintenance is expected.

Industry experience 3+ years
DICOM communication protocols, HL7 2.0 and FHIR standard knowledge required
HL7 3.0 preferred
Familiar with Python or C++ or C#
Must be experienced with PACS, electronic medical records (EMR) and patient management systems (PMs), as well as other clinical systems
Computer Science degree or demonstrable equivalent experience
Agile methodology experience
Strong analytical mind and a confident decision maker
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate well, both technically and interpersonally
Ability to balance competing demands and adapt to changing priorities
Python experience preferred
