Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks of machine.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as scheduled and/or required.
- Track all equipment information, including spare parts and documentation.
- Respects the driving rules and safety precautions;
- Participate in routine maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machine.
- Recommend any requirements for maintenance or repairs to the Supervisor.
- Reporting when Failure Happened or Spotted Warning Signals on Time.
- Using the machine only for intended operational work.
- Practice or Follow all workplace safety standards and safe work practices.
- Evaluates & reports work performance under the area of responsibility.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Requirements
Academic Qualification:
- VALID DRIVING LICENSE
- VET I + 8 years experience
- T/TVET II + 16 years experience
- TVET III year + 24 years experience
