What you will be doing
We are seeking Helpdesk professionals to join our Annapolis Junction, MD IT team. The selected candidate(s) should have 2+ years of helpdesk or related IT experience. Ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills along with solid Windows OS (and related technology) working knowledge.
What you will need:
· High School/GED (AS/BS preferred), and a minimum of 2 years of experience with user support
· Security+ or equivalent certification is required
· Ability to setup/configure basic PC hardware and printers
· Ability to connect a PC to a network (fundamental understanding of TCP/IP and Active Directory)
· Familiarity with configuration and use of commercial office automation applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of basic computer operating systems (i.e. Microsoft Windows)
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to work as part of a team and the ability to work well both independently and in teams.
· Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Demonstrated aptitude for learning new applications and technology efficiently.
· Proven ability to multi-task and to prioritize rapidly-changing task assignments.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with an appropriate polygraph is required to be considered for this role
Salary range:
$58,344.00 - $177,675.00 (Annually)*
