A day in the life of a Help Desk Analyst:
As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be expected to become familiar with a variety of software applications and hardware layouts, to help trouble shoot and resolve incoming customer support tickets.
This job is for you if you:
Can verbally communicate well with others; multi-task; learn new technologies and interact well with others.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previously worked as a Help Desk Analyst or has Public Safety Software experience
- Love resolving issues
- Have strong organizational skills
- Have the ability to prioritize actions
- Work well with others
- Have great customer service skills
What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
- Bachelor's Degree + 4 years of applicable experience or equivalent applicable experience
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a US Secret clearance.
- Customer support/help desk experience required or Public Safety Software experience.
- Familiarity with Computer Aided Dispatch systems or Public Safety Software a plus
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems. Windows 2016 Server and Windows 10 experience required.
- CompTIA Security+ certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
- Must work well with others, be able to learn new technologies required.
- Exhibit excellent work ethics and verbal communications skills required.
- Ability to function independently with little supervision and guidance required.
- Availability to travel as needed to customer sites required.
- Ability to work directly with customers to gather required information to resolve issues
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite products required
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle preferred.
- Familiarity with relational database structure preferred.
- Must be able to work, days, evenings, nights and weekends to support a 24/7 help desk
Required Level of Security Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position does not require a government security clearance, but you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
