Join our dynamic team at Fraport Greece as a Health & Safety Manager. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing Fraports’ Greece Occupational H&S (OHS) strategy to foster, promote and safeguard a safety culture across the organization and related third parties, aiming to continually improve the H&S performance in line with the corporate values and goals, H&S legal and other requirements and relevant standards.
The role is located in our premises in Marousi, Attiki.
What you will be doing:
- Develop FG OHS strategy to foster, promote and safeguard a safety culture within the organization.
- Develop, implement and constantly update FG OHS Management System (according to ISO 45001) coordinating all involved internal and external parties, aiming to ensure safe conditions and operations, providing respective training and monitoring the implementation using the appropriate performance indicators.
- Safeguard the effective implementation of OHS-related process instructions, work instructions, guidelines and rules under his/her responsibility.
- Stay up-to-date with H&S legal and other requirements, standards, and best practices (Lenders’ standards, ISO, etc.), ensuring Fraport Greece to be compliant.
- Perform hazard identification, H&S risk assessment and consequential action planning, in close cooperation with the H&S Technicians, Occupational Physicians, other Departments and third parties.
- Hold the overall responsibility for the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Uniforms of FG employees following respective H&S standards, in coordination with related Departments.
- Conduct internal audits of the OHSMS ensuring the proper implementation of the end-to-end process.
- Perform H&S incident recording, reporting, analysis and investigation.
- Coordinate external audits of the OHSMS and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
- Provide standard and ad hoc reporting on OHS issues.
- Participate and contribute to the annual budget.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least ten years of previous professional experience in health and safety management.
- Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations.
- Certified Lead Auditor for “Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems” (ISO 45001) or similar certification is mandatory.
- Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written at a professional corporate level).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and tech savviness.
- Fulfilled Military Obligations (if appropriate).
