Head of Technology - FinCrime

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

 

Anti-Financial Crime team is driven by a bold vision: to make Trade Republic the safest place for money and a leader in innovation. We aim to set the standard for state-of-the-art solutions, not just adopt them.

 

  • Define and lead the department’s tech vision, aligning it with the product strategy and setting the standard for technical excellence.
  • Serve as an architect, guiding decisions at the department and company level, offering balanced options and tradeoffs.
  • Oversee technical solutions from design through implementation and operation.
  • Mentor team members through code and architecture reviews, promoting growth and upskilling opportunities

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

 

  • Extensive experience as Head of Technology or similar leadership role in startups or hyper-growth companies.
  • Deep expertise in software and machine learning engineering, as well as data science.
  • A research-driven mindset that balances rapid delivery with continuous improvement of techniques and tools.
  • Skilled in balancing fast feature delivery with scalability for growth.
