Position Overview

Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for the oversight and direction of the full life cycle of the recruiting process for the organization. They will be responsible for optimizing Ceribell’s ability to attract and retain the best talent in the market. 

The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing strategies for the execution and management of talent acquisition function. This is a hands-on role that will establish goals and objectives and define methodologies for hiring with quality and speed. 

This role is hybrid in our Sunnyvale, CA Office with the expectation to be in office 3 days per week.

 

What You'll Do

  • Ownership and management of talent acquisition function including the budget, team management, strategic planning, and program creation to accomplish organization’s annual hiring targets. 
  • Leadership of the talent acquisition team and ability to build high impact teams  
  • Adept partner with leaders and teams across various functions to evolve company-wide recruiting that supports company strategy, impact, and ability to scale.
  • Enhance the use of data to drive the recruiting function's overall effectiveness and success. Designs and implements streamlined systems and reporting to ensure strong data. Leverages data to provide thoughtful analysis, decision-making, and calibrate team and individual recruiting performance. Regularly communicates recruiting progress against benchmarks. 
  • Identify process enhancements necessary to better align recruiting solutions with the organization business goals
  • Develop and implement programs such as collegiate program recruiting, social media marketing, organizational partnerships, career fairs, and other online initiatives. 
  • Defining and marketing Ceribell’s unique employer brand. Builds candidate pipelines through purposeful network activation. Experience engaging employees in diverse roles in referral programs. Committed to designing and delivering significant, inclusive candidate experiences. 

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, preferred 
  • Experience: 7-10+ years leading high functioning, busy TA department
  • Background: Start up and Medical Tech and/or Biopharma experience preferred
  • Technical Skills: User of Greenhouse, Crosschq, TalentWall 
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve recruitment challenges creatively and proactively.
  • Ethical Standards: Adherence to ethical recruitment practices and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation Range
$200,000$215,000 USD
