Head of Software Training

Due to an internal move we are currently looking for an experienced Head of Software Training to join our established Aiimi Software team. 

In this role, you will maintain, plan, and ensure the execution of technical education and enablement initiatives aimed at various groups involved in solution design and implementation. These include customers, solution integration partners, and our own internal delivery teams. 

Additionally, this position entails managing the effectiveness of our Learning Management System (LMS) and developing strategies and roadmaps to continually update and improve our training content. 

A day in the life of a Head of Software Training at Aiimi:

  • Develop a detailed LMS-focused training strategy that corresponds with wider organisational objectives. Ensure the implementation of training initiatives that boost user adoption and proficiency in our software systems. 
  • Supervise the development of engaging training programmes that utilise LMS features to deliver effective e-learning and virtual training experiences. 
  • Oversee the delivery and deployment of training sessions with internal and external partner teams. 
  • Establish robust mechanisms for assessing training effectiveness. Use feedback and performance data to refine training strategies and improve results. 
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including IT, HR, and department leaders, to ensure training programmes are fully integrated and aligned with Aiimi's business needs. 
  • Develop and expand training programs as a key revenue stream by assessing customer needs and implementing strategic pricing. 

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in training programmes, training delivery, or a related field, with a Bachelor’s degree being preferred. 
  • Demonstrated track record in designing and implementing successful training programmes, with a strong focus on Learning Management Systems. 
  • Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing diverse teams and resources in a dynamic environment. 
  • Advanced understanding of LMS platforms, e-learning software, and instructional design principles. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying complex concepts and engaging diverse audiences. 
  • Robust capability to assess training needs, analyse performance data, and implement strategic improvements based on empirical evidence.
