The Role
You will be joining our Spanish team, reporting directly to Carlos, CEO of Doctoralia Spain and dotted line to Cem, global CSO, to develop and oversee the entire Sales organization in Spain. You will be responsible for strategy as well as execution, closely working with our other revenue functions (CS and Marketing) as well as Product to work in a cohesive GTM strategy.

What you will do
Be responsible for the effective business operation of the entire Sales org
Implement highly effective sales strategy and structures - challenge our status quo, benchmark us against industry standards and raise the bar for our Sales team
Be a trusted advisor and business partner to Marketing/CS/Product and country leadership team - drive strategic decision-making and act as their main commercial point of contact
Own quality and consistency in collaboration with the global team and local leadership
Lead the Spanish sales team:
Coordinate, empower and engage the team
Set KPIs and evaluate performance against key metrics; identify+implement improvement initiatives
Review workforce planning ensuring it captures key local priorities
Create a culture that ensures collaboration and goal achievement
Instill a strong business development mindset - how can we combine products, what is the best way to sell, how can we change the pricing or sales pitch, how do we best segment the customers?
Own business outcomes:
Manage the collection, analysis, reporting of sales KPIs
Analyze local processes, identifying differences and best practices, and developing solutions and processes that fit the business needs
What you need to succeed
Fluency in both English and Spanish - you'll work with the local and global teams
5+ years of relevant work experience - e.g. in Sales leadership in high-growth SaaS/marketplace with an SMB/mid market focus
Excellent analytical thinking and a hands-on leadership style
Strong people development skills: ability to mentor others on craft, process and leadership, build trust and inspire with your team.
You thrive in a matrixed environment with a pronounced focus on creating buy-in across multiple functions. Successful track record of being a partner to marketing, finance, and CS leadership
Ability to prioritize and balance driving key business objectives with requirements across multiple stakeholders
Clear understanding of team’s performance evaluation and metrics and reporting/budgeting procedures
Customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and being an enthusiastic team player
