We are recruiting for a Head of Sales to drive growth to the next level. Through strong team leadership and championing your events portfolio, you and the team will sell sponsorship packages internationally and build long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders. You will join a successful conference team and strengthen our fast-growing renewable energy events portfolio.
We work across a diverse portfolio of events in the USA, Europe and Asia where our goal is to collaborate with our customers to help their businesses thrive and create a sustainable future on a global scale.
Role Accountability and Duties:
- You and your team will drive and close repeat high-value business at conferences.
- You will maximise revenue through sponsorship and conference sales within existing accounts and through new business opportunities.
- You will lead and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
- You will set, achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for you and your team.
- You will manage a sales pipeline document for reporting purposes, forecasting sales accurately on a weekly and monthly basis
- As an expert in your field, you will gather product and company feedback from clients and prospects.
What you bring to the team:
- A solid and proven background in Event sales and sales management
- Experience in conference sales and/or Expo sales is preferable
- Competent in sales process and someone who leads by example
- Proven track record of leading a high performing team and nurturing talent
- Adept at winning new business and successfully managing accounts
- Experience of working with Salesforce CRM
- Able to sell on concept and provide a consultative sales approach with an excellent telephone manner
