Head of Sales

What you’ll do 

The Head of Sales will report directly to the General Manager of i-Motor and will be primarily responsible for managing the National sales team for Websites, Digital Marketing and Test Drive - Loan - Valuation software. 

  • Develop and support solutions that deliver the further enhancement of the i-Motor brand presence in Australia, which will be achieved by developing, building and strengthening key Dealer & Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) relationships 
  • Share expertise in competitive and consumer market trends, ensuring i-Motor remains ahead as the frontrunner in innovation and technology 
  • Drive growth by enhancing market share for the overall business by leveraging industry knowledge to be a trusted advisor and partner to customers. 
  • Collaborate and connect with cross functional teams internally including other Heads of department across global markets and members of the senior leadership team, ensuring the overall departments alignment with company strategy and market trends 
  • Lead the development and submission of comprehensive responses to RFPs and RFQs, including coordinating with cross-functional teams, gathering necessary information, and ensuring all client requirements are met while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Critical to success will be strong strategic capabilities coupled with superior business acumen and a customer focused approach to understand the market and anticipate future needs 

What are we looking for? 

  • Demonstrate understanding and expertise in progressive leadership experience at an executive level in sales and business development roles with demonstrated ability to meet strategic growth objectives 
  • Strong experience leading the management and development of a high performing Sales team to ensure the team meets their annual revenue targets. 
  • Expertise in building strong relationships both internally and externally with the ability to bring on new partners and secure new i-Motor business 
  • Natural relationship builder who brings demonstrated success to your customers, in taking corporate strategy and bringing it to life while growing the business 
  • An engaging people leader with expertise to engage and develop existing talent in a sustainable manner, striving to build unity and high levels of employee engagement  
  • Skilled sales executive who knows how to “open the door” and quickly build new client relationships whilst effectively selling ideas, products and services in a highly competitive marketplace 
  • Highly passionate, this person is successful at breaking down barriers, believes in sharing success with others and ensuring that the team is successful in their mandate. Focuses on how to build culture within the team and is eager to celebrate both individual and group success 
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, develop and execute in high pressure, fast, entrepreneurial and virtual environments whilst demonstrating exceptional communication and presentation skills coupled with a persistent, tenacious, results oriented mindset
