Attached to the VP platform engineering, we are looking for our Head of Quality Assurance to join our Platform Engineering team! As the Head of QA, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all initiatives aimed at improving the processes, methodologies and tools/stacks around testing and quality of Believe products. You will be tasked with designing and implementing strategies and processes to optimize our testing frameworks, reduce costs, enhance service quality and help SREs and development teams to reach a high level of maturity on quality assurance topics.
You will also be responsible of all the roadmaps and budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) follow up and reporting to the Tech CODIR level.
Missions:
- With the VP Platform Engineering, establish and drive strategic and tactical QA initiatives
- Being responsible of the development and implementation of QA Governance processes and tools with associated reporting metrics at scale
- Propose organization and staffing plan to achieve QA roadmap and ambitions
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX budget for the QA department
- Contribute to development and implementation of continuous improvement criteria and measurements
- Work closely with Heads of engineering, Heads of product, Architecture teams and all platform teams to spread the QA strategy and measure its deployment
- Deploy a shift left approach on our testing phases
- Engage a data and KPI driven approach to measure the efficiency of our QA stack
- 5 years on managing a quality assurance team on a digital and fast-growing company
- Experienced on several testing and automation stacks and tools
- Basic knowledge of several languages like PHP, Java, Python, JS, Typescript, Kotlin …
- Fluency in Cloud software and systems
- Cultivating a quality culture, disseminating best practices to teams and structuring quality activities with key performance indicators (KPIs) based on results, defect prevention techniques, test standards, and reports.
