Job Description
As our Head of Product, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our product strategy and execution as we scale. You'll be responsible for delivering big projects, reviewing product performance, and spearheading growth initiatives. Being part of a fast-growing, product-led business with a track record of deploying many innovative new solutions, you’ll juggle strategic and hands-on tasks. Your deep understanding of customer needs will be crucial in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.

Not limited to a single product area or type, this versatile role will work closely with all aspects of the business to create innovative products across hardware, software, packaging, customer experience and web. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow our product suite and expand market share
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing product team, that is motivated, agile and outcome focused
  • Oversee the delivery of major product initiatives from conception to launch
  • Analyse product performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support
  • Translate complex customer needs into simple, elegant product solutions
  • Balance short-term wins with long-term strategic thinking in product development
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes for product prioritisation
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor movements to inform product strategy

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex products in a high-growth, innovative environment.
  • Strong experience in technical delivery and working with engineering teams to deploy innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working at a scale-up, juggling both hands-on and strategic responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to iterate a product over time via data analysis and user feedback 
  • Ability to clearly design each product’s roadmap and articulate via collaboration and documentation how and when products and features evolve to ensure a consistent release schedule over time
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in financial services or fintech is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
