Job Summary
The Head of Product leads strategic initiatives to deliver Plenti’s strategic roadmap and operational goals. This role requires strategic vision, operational excellence, and the ability to inspire and grow a high-performing product team. You will oversee product development, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure alignment across the organisation to achieve Plenti’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy and Vision
• Develop and clearly communicate a forward-thinking product strategy that supports Plenti’s growth and profitability.
• Stay ahead of market trends and customer needs, and introduce innovative solutions in technology, operations, and customer experiences.
• Introduce and evaluate strategic initiatives by exploring scope, effort and measurable impact towards Plenti’s strategic goals.
2. Product Team Leadership
• Coach, mentor, and grow a high-performing product management team.
• Own and continuously improve Plenti’s product management processes.
• Encourage a data-driven culture within the product team, using analytics to guide innovation and improvement.
• Cultivate a culture of action, innovation, ownership, and collaboration
3. Cross-Functional Leadership
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, customer experience, and commercial teams to execute product initiatives seamlessly.
• Work with commercial, sales, marketing, and credit risk teams to develop compelling product offerings.
• Lead impactful change across all departments, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
4. Delivery
• Maintain a comprehensive view of our product suite to ensure each initiative delivers significant impact across all channels.
• Identify and resolve obstacles that hinder progress on key product initiatives.
• Serve as a problem-solver for cross-functional teams, keeping projects on track.
5. Decision-Making and Prioritisation
• Own the product roadmap, making informed trade-offs to balance short-term needs with long-term goals.
• Regularly evaluate initiatives to ensure their prioritisation aligns with their intended measures of success.
• Ensure teams are properly structured and resourced to deliver the product roadmap and support daily operations.
6. Alignment and Communication
• Represent the product team as part of Plenti’s leadership group.
• Act as the central communication hub for product strategy and initiatives.
• Utilise data to communicate the success and progress of product initiatives to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
• Ensure departmental and stakeholder alignment to foster clarity and cohesion.

• Proven success in developing and executing long-term product roadmaps.
• Strong ability to lead, hire, inspire, and mentor high-performing teams.

• Expertise in managing complex, multi-channel products across diverse platforms.
