About The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Product to help us become a long-term guide for millions of couples at every stage of their relationship. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll shape our product strategy and have overall responsibility for our product roadmap, execution and team of PMs.

This is a player-coach role, meaning you’ll be a PM for one of our squads whilst also leading and managing the other PMs at Paired (currently 1 PM, planned to be 2 PMs later this year).

This is a unique opportunity to bring a product loved by couples to the mainstream and work with colleagues who have extensive experience growing top-grossing apps.

What Your Role Encompasses

  • Shape Paired’s product strategy, taking into account user needs, business growth, and company strategy
  • Own the overall product roadmap, ensuring we are prioritising the most impactful things
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research to discover user needs and validate ideas before development
  • Drive features through the product lifecycle of ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a world-class team of product managers
  • Analyse data on product performance and find opportunities for growth
  • Define and manage the roadmap for one of our squads
  • Level up product management processes across discovery, prioritisation, analysis, documentation, and more
  • Set, track progress against, and hit quarterly squad OKRs and their associated KPIs
  • Work closely with design, research, content and engineering to ensure we deliver an excellent product experience
  • Partner with the marketing team to shape our go-to-market approach for new features

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a product manager, preferably at the intersection of product and growth
  • Fluent in best practices of mobile and web growth, retention, and monetization
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills; able to attract, recruit, lead and develop the best talent
  • Experience successfully scaling consumer mobile app products used by millions of people
  • Passionate about building insight into user problems through research and using this as a key input into decision making
  • Excellent data analysis skills; uses data to inform product decisions
  • Strong understanding of agile modern software development approaches
  • Passionate about helping couples have happier relationships
  • Roll-up-your sleeves attitude; able to step in where required and lead by example
  • A valid UK or European working permit or passport (no sponsorship requirements)
