We are thrilled to present a one-of-a-kind opportunity for highly skilled individuals to join our team as the Head of Product. In this role, you will take charge of our ground-breaking platform offering to our clients. You will be at the helm of shaping our product's roadmap and development, utilising detailed analysis of customer needs and market opportunities.

  • Getting a solid understanding of our product and our customers, and how they use it.
  • Creating and sharing the vision for the BigChange platform (we aim to be the leading Field Service Management Platform in our target markets through growth and reputation).
  • Making sure we have the right metrics to measure the value the platform delivers, and how any new features contribute to that.
  • Making sure the scrum teams receive well-defined and well-thought-out requirements on an ongoing basis.
  • Designing and implementing effective working practices for the product team, aligned with Agile methodologies (e.g., Ideation, Discovery, Prioritisation).
  • Developing strategies for product pricing and positioning.
  • Improving user experiences through thoughtful design and style.
  • Creating product roadmaps and implementation schedules for the value stream.
  • Providing support for product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with sales colleagues on enterprise opportunities to understand customer needs and find the right solutions.
  • Working with the BigChange marketing team to research competitors and identify ways to maintain and enhance our competitive advantage.
  • Conducting profitability analysis and forecasting to improve product performance.
  • Representing BigChange in client-facing events and account management situations to share the development roadmap and engage with customers.
  • Effectively managing your team.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in a role specializing in managing SaaS products.
  • Demonstrable experience in a rapidly growing technology environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of technologies and the software development process.
  • Understanding of budgeting and business planning.
  • Awareness of technological trends to formulate product strategy.
  • Ability to translate vision into successful execution.
  • Business acumen, including creating value propositions and pricing.
  • Able to conduct technological analyses and research.
  • Experience in analysing and making decisions on whether to build, buy or partner.
  • Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative mindset.
  • Proficient in leading customers on the product roadmap journey.
  • Effective leadership and organizational abilities.
  • An agile, adaptable approach and resiliency.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
