About the role  

Procurement & Supplier Management at 10x Banking is as an exciting stage as a team.  

Bringing together supplier, competitor and industry knowledge, our team sources sustainable, commercially beneficial relationships with diverse suppliers that keep us driving forward and delivering a best-in-class service for our clients and their customers and for our own colleague experience.

This is a varied role in which you will play an essential part in sourcing new suppliers and managing our existing suppliers to ensure that the needs of the business are met. It’s a team that spans the length and breadth of the business.

About you  

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Sourcing and negotiation expertise - with demonstrable experience of delivering complex sourcing programmes with cost efficiencies.
  • Inspirational leadership and a track record of developing high performing teams.
  • Impact and influence with senior stakeholders, up to ExCo level.
  • Track record of driving performance from high value and complexity suppliers.
  • An ability to shape future functional strategy and create and execute plans with cross functional teams.

You will be responsible for…  

  • Managing the relationship with senior business stakeholders, up to and including ExCo, to align plans to deliver the supplier performance and a pipeline of savings and value that’s aligned to the business strategy;
  • Leading the team to deliver complex end to end sourcing activity including sourcing plan, tenders (RFI/RFP), complex supplier negotiations and implement contract arrangements - to drive supplier performance and deliver successfully to our customers;
  • Managing all activity in line with industry compliance standards (ISO, SOC2 etc); and
  • Leading functional development initiatives, including the selection and deployment of suitable team tools (we currently use Gatekeeper), and contribute to the successful leadership of the function to deliver its overall priorities.

Requirements

Ideally you will have… 

  • Previous experience in a role with exposure to Procurement and Supplier Management and an understanding of managing suppliers through all stages of the supplier lifecycle.
  • Well-structured and autonomous working style, with a strong ability to prioritise and manage the workload in a fast-moving environment.
  • Capable of communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of seniority, whilst building strong cross-functional business relationships.
  • Desire to improve ways of working through an innovative and forward-thinking approach to the job.
  • Experience in a tech, fintech or other fast-paced scaling company would be advantageous (but not essential).

10x is a fully ‘remote enabled’ organisation and supports agile working. This role has a minimum office attendance requirement of approx. once a week or twice a fortnight, in agreement with your line manager.

As all employees are employed on London-based contracts, commuting costs to the office are covered by employees and not by 10x.
