Ohme has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. We are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of Octopus Energy, Volvo Belux, Smart Home Charge and other innovative brands.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Platform to join our team.

What you will do:

We are looking for an experienced and tenacious Head of Platform to join our leadership team. Building and leading a high performing engineering team. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a critical role in shaping the engineering team structure to scale successfully with our ambitious growth plans. Requirements

  • Create, build and implement the operational planning of the technology strategy in alignment with the company's goals.
  • Develop, plan, resource, and budget the engineering roadmap.
  • Recruit and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of scalable and robust technology solutions to meet business needs and drive growth.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Embed best practises and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics related to technology operations, performance, and efficiency, implementing improvements as needed.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a very hands-on, proactive approach.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of system/platform implementation or integration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders in a non-technical manner.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects from concept to completion, delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage high performing Engineering teams.
  • Collaborative and nurturing leadership style; you know how to get the best out of people while promoting autonomy and innovation.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
