Head of People

We are seeking a detail-oriented, passionate, dynamic, and experienced Head of People for a full-time position within our People team. 

Will lead the day-to-day HR topics, while being a strategic coach for Top and Middle management providing guidance on an ongoing basis. He or she will support talent development throughout the company and manage the full employee lifecycle to help each of our employees reach their maximum potential within the organization and ensure the work environment reflects the company values. 

This Head of People role will embrace an agile approach to developing, delivering, and driving continuous improvement across all people and culture initiatives. Must work closely with the Finance Team, other team members of the HR teams overseas, and the different central functions, such as Tech, Product, Sales, Customer Success, Growth, Marketing, among others.

In this role, we are looking for a leader in HR practices and services including PeopleOps, Talent Management, People Performance, Organizational Development, Culture, Employee Relations, and the management of HR Platforms.

This position will be hybrid and based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partner with Jampp’s C-level to develop and execute an HR roadmap, aligning with their vision and overseeing talent management programs.
  • Provide HR support to team leaders by coaching managers and team leads in talent management, team development, and career path.
  • Facilitate employee coaching and development by assessing needs and customizing training programs.
  • Manage HR platforms for Jampp and other Affle business units, managing vacations, reimbursements, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Lead the People team, organizing company events, meetings, and recognition programs.
  • Design and implement talent management strategies, including performance management, career development, talent mapping, internal movements, salary reviews, and potential evaluation.
  • Promote core values and Enhancing the cultural environment of the company.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, focusing on continuous improvement.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • 5+ years of HR/People Manager/People Operations-related experience, preferably within technology startups.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit with a “whatever it takes to get it done” attitude.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English are a must. 
  • Strong startup experience and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to influence and drive change with executive teams.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement people strategies that drive business results.
  • Understanding of compensation, benefits, organizational development, and employee relations.
  • Proficiency using Excel and Google Sheets is required.
