Constant Contact is seeking a Head of Partnerships to recruit for the Constant Contact Partner program in the UK/I region

A globally recognized and respected brand in the digital marketing space, Constant Contact offers powerful online marketing tools, contact management and sales functionality, and innovative AI capabilities, to help businesses to attract and engage the right customers, close more deals and grow.

We are looking for a seasoned partner leader to elevate and scale our channel partner strategy. Reporting to the UK General Manager, this role will research, target and build mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners, including but not limited to corporations, business networks and trade associations. The successful applicant will also recruit new partners onto our partner program, including digital marketing agencies, marketing experts and business consultants, amongst others.

As the Head of Partnerships, you will be part of the local leadership team and focused on helping to grow the Constant Contact partner/channel ecosystem in-region. Serving as a trusted advisor to our partners, you will also ensure that business value is continually nurtured and effectively grown by providing exceptional partner management.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about building strategic commercial relationships and helping businesses grow. As this is a new role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the direction of the partner program in the region. You’ll need to be a hands-on self-starter, capable of building the program from the ground up.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to develop and execute strategies that lead to new partner relationships.
  • Maintain a high-level of understanding of Constant Contact solutions and ecosystem.
  • Research and recruit key partner relationships that create value for Constant Contact, the partner, and our ecosystem.
  • Drive specific partner value messaging and recruit meaningful high-growth relationships with key partners at every level.
  • Act in collaboration with other Constant Contact resources to assist in onboarding and enablement.
  • Guide and influence partner prospects to align with Constant Contact’s products and services.
  • Identify partner’s GTM strategy to build, enable and drive successful ROI.
  • Work with other supporting channels as needed.
  • Conduct contract negotiations as needed.

Who you are

  • Min 5 years’ experience in channel partner development/sales in a SaaS or software-based environment. MarTech and/or ecommerce is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a business-related field.
  • Experience leading a successful channel/partner recruitment strategy, contract negotiations and business development.
  • Experience creating value proposition and profitability with prospect targets.
  • Ability to leverage resources across all channels to support objectives.
  • Effectively position partner program and value on strategic partner prospects at scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commercial mindset.
  • Experience in working with or catering to the UK SMB market
  • Strong and relevant existing network in the UK would be a bonus e.g. marketing professionals, digital marketing agencies and/or small business networks
