About the Strategy Team:
Darkhive is a DefenseTech startup that builds autonomous teaming capabilities for defense and public safety. Core products today include small, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and ecosystem software all built with low cost, ease of use, and open interface design in mind to enable decision making when it matters most. As a startup, Darkhive competes with larger, established Defense Primes and exists to serve our end users & customers through providing compliant, attritable, autonomous solutions to mission requirements.Joining the team is a commitment to hard work, frequent stumbles & false starts, periods of high stress, and ultimately uncertain outcomes. The Head of Partnerships role:
Revenue leader primarily responsible for driving commercial and strategic opportunities with defense primes, DefenseTech startups, channel partners, and other external organizations that can help Darkhive bring autonomy to where it matters most.
As a functional lead, own the development of the partnership engagement roadmap and longer-term strategic planning for key relationships. As commercial relationships gain traction, build out a supporting team to enable channel partner, prime & integrator, and broader B2B and B2G partnerships both domestically and internationally.
The Head of Partnerships is an exempt, non-supervisory position reporting to the VP of Defense Strategy. This position can be on-site in San Antonio, Texas or hybrid with the expectation of up to 75% travel to headquarters, partner sites, conferences, expos, and events, and to tactical field and demonstration environments. This position has a base salary and equity compensation, plus potential commission and bonus.
