CastleGate Forwarding (CGF) at Wayfair is a fast-growing digital freight forwarder representing the inbound leg of Wayfair’s proprietary, end-to-end CastleGate Logistics offering. CGF seamlessly delivers inventory from factories in Asia to destinations in North America and Europe on behalf of our Wayfair suppliers. Services include origin trucking, consolidation/deconsolidation services, ocean carriage, destination drayage, and landside equipment management. Services are provided to the suppliers who sell on Wayfair.com and can feed either the CastleGate warehouse and fulfillment network or the supplier’s dropship network. CGF executes through a continuously maintained and managed set of third-party ocean carriers, drayage/trucking carriers, and other vendors.
Key to the success of our services is cost-efficient, reliable and high-quality drayage service from destination port to final location. Drayage service execution and quality are driven by leaders in North America and Europe.
As the head of North America (NA) Drayage Operations, you will lead a ~15-person team responsible for the speed, cost, and quality of a drayage operation serving the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will also support tech tool development, data system completeness and accuracy, the accurate inbound visibility and planning for the broader CastleGate warehouse network in NA, and lead customer service activities related to drayage service. As the NA leader you will need to set the NA drayage vision and motivate both your direct team and cross-functional stakeholders in support of CGF strategic objectives. Just as important will be translating this vision into an execution roadmap, driving both process improvements as well as consistently achieving weekly performance targets.

Wayfair's In-Office Policy:
All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work remotely the other 1 day of the week.
