Head of New Solutions, DPS - Issuer Solutions

We are seeking a senior leader to be responsible for the development and launch of new processing solutions in the United States. Potential solutions could incorporate elements of the existing Visa-owned issuer processing solution stacks, in addition to services provided by 3rd-parties. Hence the leader and their team will be responsible for managing the internal development as well as establishing partnerships to augment the internal capabilities to deliver solutions with a focus on modern architecture, best-in-class value-added services, and regulatory compliance. They will also partner to develop the GTM and sales plans and oversee a multi-year growth strategy and P&L.

The individual will build out a small team focused solely on this effort while also partnering with a number of existing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product roadmap, development, and launch of new processing solutions that meet the needs of potential target customers
  • Work with existing Visa processing businesses to leverage all existing capabilities in solution build
  • Establish and manage partnerships with external vendors
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Client Services, and Sales, across Visa to ensure solutions are integrated seamlessly into our existing suite of products and services
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute a go-to-market strategies
  • Track and report on key metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations to drive product improvement and growth
  • Build a multi-year growth strategy and oversee the ongoing product P&L

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Requirements:
• 12 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or 8 years relevant work experience with a PhD
• 10+ years leadership experience in product development / management within the issuer processing space, either a processor or large card issuer
• Strong track record of establishing and managing successful partnerships and vendor relationships
• Deep expertise in U.S. payments landscape including key players and trends
• Understanding of U.S. regulatory and compliance landscape and its implications for US issuers
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product development processes
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results and business impact
• Track record making expense trade-offs and managing a P&L
• Enthusiastic and effective people leader

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,800 to 225,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
