In addition, our vision is to empower local businesses to scale, in-store and online, by providing a suite of innovative tools and logistics services that become the go-to operating system - helping them deliver exceptional customer experiences. This includes e.g., Wolt Drive, our delivery-as-a-service solution that enables merchants to leverage our local logistics network for instant, same-day, and scheduled deliveries. Now we’re expanding further by developing suite of adjacent products, and we’re looking for a commercial leader to take charge of their global strategy and go-to-market efforts
About the Role:
As the Head of New Commerce Platform solutions, you will be responsible for driving the commercialization and go-to-market strategy for our new solutions within online ordering and fleet management space. Over time, as these services will start scaling, this would allow you to take over full ownership and P&L responsibility of a new business.
You will:
- Develop and execute on the commercial strategy of our new product offerings for online ordering and fleet management, including go-to-market plans, pricing models, general deal structures and strategic pitches
- Work hands-on to secure high-impact pilot partnerships, building the business from 0 to 1 and beyond.
- Set up a strong pipeline of deals across markets, ranging from enterprise discussions and strategic partnerships to a scalable SMB acquisition funnel
- Enable country teams to sell, upsell & cross-sell these offerings efficiently (pipeline, CRM, sales templates, playbooks, contracts, invoicing etc.)
- Collaborate closely with our central team and product team, being deeply involved in decision-making, from shaping the product roadmap to ensuring successful rollouts of key features, to create a seamless and powerful offering for our clients.
- Determine the goals and strategic plans, and take ownership in reaching those targets
This role requires a strategic, analytical thinker who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, work cross-functionally, and drive rapid growth in our “startup within a scale-up” team.
- Have relevant years of experience. You’ve succeeded in high-performance cultures (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or a related experience), and you have experience leading commercial organizations, structuring partnerships and have a proven track record of building topline growth
- Are experienced in creating commercial strategies for bringing new products to market within eCommerce, B2B software or logistics context
- Can lead through others with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - rallying together commercial teams, cross-functional collaboration and senior leaders to pull together on shared goals & strategic initiatives where needed
- Show great strategic and structured thinking, supported by top-quality analytical execution
- Solve problems from first principles. You’re excited to find innovative ways, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done in the industry” mindset, instead connecting the dots in a fast-moving merchant tech ecosystem
- Are equally comfortable operating at 10,000 meters and 1 meter. You don’t hesitate to get into the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team. No job is beneath you.
- Are highly energetic with a bias towards action—someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a lasting impact. You’ll be working at a rapid pace with 27+ country teams across several time zones, so it’s not supposed to be easy 😊
