By joining the Tech team, you’ll be an integral part of building our all-in-one business management platform.

The Opportunity
As the Head of Mobile Platforms, you will lead teams of teams to achieve outstanding results for one of our key growth areas of MYOB.

As part of MYOB's Leadership Team, you will be responsible for defining and driving MYOB's Mobile Platform strategy, as well as the delivery practices and engineering standards. You will strive to build and deliver outstanding products and experiences, so our Small and Medium Enterprise customers and MYOB can grow together.

You will work initially on an exciting program, incorporating both new and existing products, where you will strive to make them even more loved and widely adopted in the Australian and New Zealand small business community, by optimising user experience in partnership with Product, Product Marketing and Design.


What's involved
- Highly developed management and leadership skills in a SaaS engineering environment, with extensive experience balancing competing priorities;
- Leading Delivery & Engineering Managers and their teams in the development and delivery of mobile app, platform and software features for our customers and our business management platform;
- Explore groundbreaking technology and bring commercial nous to articulate how - MYOB and the Segment can benefit from engineering practices;
- Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching/mentoring, critical thinking, facilitation, change leadership, and team development with a focus on embracing our values;
- Proven experience in leading high performance development capabilities, utilising agile methodologies;
- Experience working in complex system architectures, including both web and smart client technology;
- Previous experience as a member of a senior leadership team;
- Ability to attract and retain talent and to inspire the team;
- Ability to build trusting, meaningful relationships with peers, team members, partners and suppliers;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical influencing;
- A demonstrated track record in identifying and delivering innovative technical solutions to meet strategic and tactical operational requirements;
- Work closely with cross function senior leadership, using vision, creativity and pragmatism, to define, prioritise and drive our strategic business objectives.
