As the Head of Mission Control, you will be responsible for leading our remote operations command center. This is a highly visible position within the organization that will give you the opportunity to work across all functions at Path. You will report directly to the VP, Operations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage robotic cell operations center (“Mission Control”) team of ~10 people
- Design, develop and rollout best practices, response workflows, and training programs
- Design and build out remote monitoring and teleoperations teams in multiple locations
- Partner cross functionally with operations, engineering, product, and account management teams to improve customer experience working with Path Robotics
- Own tool/system identification and selection and partner with engineering as needed
Who You Are
- Strong people leader with proven track record of hiring and developing high performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of an organization across functions.
- 4+ years experience in building and managing teams
- Detail oriented leader with passion for establishing best practices and managing against key performance indicators on a daily basis
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly dynamic operating environment
- Passion for robotics, manufacturing and operations
- Willingness to travel as needed and up to 20% of the time based on business needs
- Engineering, robotics, or manufacturing experience preferred
