We are looking for a dynamic, technically proficient marketer to lead and define the vision for our Marketing Platforms. As the Head of Marketing Innovation, you will be at the forefront of building and optimizing the tech stack that drives our Acquisition and Retention Marketing strategies across all channels, both paid and owned across B2C & B2B Marketing.
In this role, you will be the key liaison between Marketing and our MarTech Product & Engineering teams, ensuring that product requirements are identified, prioritized, and aligned with our most critical business needs. Your responsibilities will include driving product and feature adoption through the development of processes, training, and documentation, empowering our marketing teams to fully leverage our platforms.
As a strategic connector, you will foster a culture of curiosity and collaboration, linking insights, technology, and people. Reporting to the VP of Growth within the Marketing Team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics—to identify opportunities, enhance customer experience, and support growth initiatives across various business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the vision and roadmap for our Marketing Tech Platforms, enabling teams to deliver top-tier performance and engagement marketing campaigns across our B2C & B2B marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, build business cases, and implement solutions that drive efficiency and growth.
- Act as a technical resource for Growth Marketing, managing and prioritizing Product & Engineering requests.
- Vendor Management: Oversee the evaluation, onboarding, and performance of all MarTech vendors (e.g. Braze, Iterable, Appsflyer, Adjust, Singular, Google, etc…).
- Own product adoption, developing training and documentation to maximize platform potential.
- Enhance marketing operations and governance processes, ensuring consistent execution.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Manage and build the Marketing Tech Stack across both B2C & B2B sides of Wolt from Consumer, Courier Partners to Merchant marketing.
- Proficiency experience in marketing technology; app and/or subscription-based businesses preferred as well as MarOps & BI system.
- Deep understanding of CRM and AdTech systems and best practices; Iterable, Braze & Salesforce, or Appsflyer/Adjust experience a major plus.
- Solutions-oriented, proactive, and adaptable with a strong track record in delivering technical projects.
- Experience leading high-performance teams, mentoring talent, and defining long-term career competencies for growth-led teams.
- Experience with digital privacy policies such as Apple’s App Tracking Transparency Framework.
- Readiness to operate in ambiguous roles that you can help refine over time to streamline partnerships across inter-functional and cross-functional teams like Product, Analytics, Engineering, and more.
- Strong negotiation skills especially with external partners and the ability to influence without authority.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong expertise using SQL to extract, clean, and transform data in large, sophisticated, nested databases with hands-on experience in SQL and BI tools. Experience with Snowflake is a major plus
