We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Head of Marketing - MENA at Capital.com.

This pivotal role will involve leading our marketing strategy, driving brand growth, and overseeing all marketing operations in the MENA region. We are looking for a dynamic professional with a proven track record in marketing leadership and a passion for innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing strategies tailored to the MENA market, aligned with corporate objectives and market dynamics.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social, events, partnerships, and more.
  • Set KPIs and oversee the measurement of marketing performance to ensure the achievement of revenue and brand growth targets.
  • Identify and leverage market trends, consumer behavior, and regional insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, regional and global teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives and goals.

  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of marketing professionals, including Social Media Managers, Events Managers, Strategic Partnership Managers, and Marketing Managers.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture within the marketing team.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and professional development opportunities for direct reports.
  • Manage resource allocation and ensure the efficient use of budget and personnel across the team.

  • Brand & Market Positioning:
  • Oversee the development of localized marketing content and campaigns that resonate with target audiences in different MENA markets, while maintaining global brand consistency.
  • Ensure the brand’s voice is consistent across all channels and aligns with the region's cultural nuances.
  • Strengthen brand presence and build long-term relationships with customers, influencers, and other stakeholders.

  • Digital Marketing & Social Media:
  • Oversee the management and execution of regional digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Ensure social media channels are optimized for engagement, growth, and brand consistency.
  • Lead the content strategy for social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc., focusing on engagement, community building, and brand advocacy.

  • Events & Partnerships:
  • Manage and oversee the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person events in the region, including conferences, webinars, exhibitions, and promotional activations.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with key organizations, influencers, and stakeholders to enhance brand presence and drive business growth.
  • Negotiate sponsorships, co-branded campaigns, and partnerships to maximize brand visibility and ROI.

  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:
  • Use data-driven insights to track, measure, and optimize marketing campaigns across all touchpoints.
  • Provide regular reports and performance updates to senior management, showcasing campaign results, ROI, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead the use of CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools to drive marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • 8-12+ years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role in a multinational organization or within the MENA region.
  • Proven track record in managing and scaling marketing teams across various disciplines (social media, events, partnerships, digital marketing, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of MENA market dynamics, cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and regional media landscapes.
  • Experience in B2B/B2C marketing, brand management, and performance marketing across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and executing integrated marketing campaigns across the MENA region, with measurable business outcomes.

  • Skills & Expertise:
  • Leadership: Strong team management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Digital Expertise: Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and data analytics.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred).
  • Partnership & Relationship Building: Experience in cultivating strategic partnerships with influencers, media, and external stakeholders.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to navigate and lead marketing efforts in diverse MENA markets, respecting local customs and business practices.

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprinklr, etc.).

  • Languages:
  • Fluent in English (essential).
  • Proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred.
