The Role

The Head of Lending will be responsible for Neo's unsecured lending strategy and will be responsible for driving receivable growth for the lending business, while staying within the risk tolerances set by the credit risk management team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll develop and lead the Lending P&L for Neo, with a focus on Credit Cards and unsecured lending, supporting the growth of the business and ensuring P&L is integrated with the company strategy
  • As the champion for retail credit and mortgage product offerings, you will direct and influence cross-functional teams to implement strategies that support Neo's growth initiatives
  • You evolve Neo’s existing product line pricing structures, strategies, and tactics in ways that reflect business growth, customer preferences, and revenue targets
  • You develop and own the annual operating plan and will identify and implement actions to close gaps and exceed targets
  • You are the subject matter expert for retail credit and mortgage offerings, and you seek out product solutions through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • You provide leadership to direct reports through training, continuous learning, performance assessment, coaching and recognition
  • You work closely with Credit Risk to deliver a balanced strategy that reflects the growth ambitions of the company

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of senior leadership experience at a fast-growing organization
  • You have prior P&L ownership of unsecured lending products
  • You have extensive experience in retail banking, credit cards, and unsecured loans or lines of credit
  • You have entrepreneurial DNA, you’re comfortable building a business from the ground up, and you can make decisions in the face of ambiguity
  • You have excellent communication skills, including an ability to develop concise summaries of complex analyses and data appropriate for various levels of consumption
  • Strategy/consulting experience is considered a strong asset
