Head of Key Accounts

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Director, this exciting role sits within the Sales Team at SEEK Asia (JobsDB).  The primary focus of the role is to be responsible for overall strategy, performance and day-to-day management of the Key Account sales teams.

This position plays an integral part in the success of our team’s long-term vision, and represents a brand-new opportunity. We are looking for someone with a proven ability to adapt to a changing environment, and be a change champion, with the role evolving over time, as we progress through our technological & operational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Develop and drive the strategy for continuous improvement of management of Key Account;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs;
  • Effectively share market intelligence, performance and jobseeker insights as a resource to support Key Accounts, positioning JobsDB as a strategic resource to their businesses;
  • Work with Trade Marketing to assist Key Accounts in running campaigns for branding and attracting candidates;
  • Develop and update account management plans for each client with a key focus on revenue, relationships and performance;
  • Maintain up-to-date Key Accounts’ profiles to ensure JobsDB have key insights needed to effectively partner with and grow revenue of Keys Accounts portfolio;
  • Communicate annual sales strategy, including aligned operational plan, that is designed to achieve annual target and KPIs;
  • Develop, execute and refine customer experience strategy for the team to ensure it can meet the business objectives of revenue growth, client acquisition & customer satisfaction;
  • Drive the overall strategy and approach to manage the relationship with our key account clients;
  • Manage escalated client situations in order to preserve the long term relationship;
  • Develop and maintain mechanisms for clients and sales related feedback to key support functions such as Product and Trade Marketing.

People Management & Leadership

  • Demonstrate high quality leadership and ability to coach, mentor, and train team members to ensure they are operating at maximum efficiency to achieve sales targets;
  • Recruitment, retention and motivation of sales staff;
  • Conduct performance reviews with direct reports;
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with other Functional Managers;
  • Ensure that team members demonstrate the JobsDB Values at all times while performing;
  • Develop strong internal co-ordination and collaboration amongst team to ensure maximum performance and objectives are achieved;
  • Ensure the team understand and adheres to all Company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

The Team

  • Reports to Sales Director, leading 3 teams in total. Working closely with Managing Director – Hong Kong, Sales Director, Head of Enterprise Accounts and Operation Director.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience;
  • Minimum 8 years of sales management and leadership experience;
  • Hands-on experience in direct sales management, customer relationship management would be an added advantage;
  • Ideally knowledge & experience selling to SME market;
  • Good interpersonal relation skills, excellent communicator, strong in organization and creating team work, good facilitator, consensus builder and able to manage conflict;
  • Strong passion for coaching and mentoring staff is an absolute must.
