Responsibilities:
- IT Strategy
- Identifying and prioritizing technology needs and opportunities by collaborating with different stakeholders and applying industry insights and best practices to drive organizational success
- Developing a short, mid and long-term IT strategy and roadmap to support business success through building needed capabilities
- Identifying IT key initiatives and solutions that will enhance business productivity and competitive advantage, pioneering implementation of tools and technologies to enable organization productivity and competitive advantage
- Identifying IT risks and challenges that need to be addressed in short- and long-term perspective
- IT governance
- Implementing IT governance structures to manage and monitor IT investments and initiatives
- In collaboration with compliance and info-security functions, ensuring IT compliance with legal, regulatory, and security standards
- Developing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, best practices and standards
- Leadership and team management
- Recruiting, training, and mentoring IT staff to build a competent and motivated team.
- Setting expectations, standards, metrics, providing clear goals, performance feedback, and career development opportunities for team members.
- Coordinating and supervising the day-to-day activities of the IT department.
- Organize the work of teams, providing all the necessary resources, tools, guidance and leadership, direction, strategic insight and communication
- Ensure high people engagement
- Budget and cost management
- Preparing and managing the IT function costs to ensure cost-effective service delivery
- Evaluating and negotiating with vendors for software, hardware, and services.
- Infrastructure management
- Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.
- Ensuring the reliability, performance, scalability and security of the IT infrastructure.
- Planning for and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- IT services and capabilities
- Providing IT advisory to internal and external stakeholders, sharing expertise allowing to close major deals in company's customer acquisition and development pursuit
- Contributing to the development of company products and services from IT standpoint
- Developing and managing external IT services if this is relevant, working with customer needs, seizing business opportunities, increasing their value, driving business growth
- Managing internal IT services, including IT helpdesk, ensuring high internal customer service standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in IT management on leadership roles.
- Proven experience in leading and developing cross-functional teams, including activities related to full-cycle people management.
- Track record of managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, aligning IT services to their needs.
- Expertise in managing large-scale IT projects of building organization-wide IT capabilities, including planning, execution, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ability to align IT strategy with organizational goals, drive innovation, and adapt to evolving industry trends.
- Hands-on experience in managing IT budgets, optimizing costs, and ensuring resource allocation.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, emerging technologies such as cloud computing, AI, and data analytics, understanding of software development principles and needs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
