Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Growth Marketing to lead Coupang’s growth efforts in Taiwan. This senior leadership role is ideal for someone with a proven track record or scaling tech startups and e-commerce platforms in competitive marketing, particularly in Asia (although not an essential requirement). You will play a critical role in expanding Coupang’s presence in Taiwan, driving customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and customer loyalty in Taiwan.
- Lead the optimization of paid and performance marketing channels (including Display, Search, Affiliates, etc.) to ensure maximum ROI.
- Lead discussion and manage relationships with senior stakeholders in Google, Meta, and other performance marketing channel partners.
- Leverage customer data and market analytics to continually refine marketing strategies and ensure scalability.
- Define roadmap for growth working Product and Engineering teams to build capabilities to improve efficiency of marketing spend.
- Build and manage a high-performing user growth team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Essential Qualifications:
- 15+ years in performance marketing with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in a fast-growth tech company or e-commerce platform at scale.
- Experience leading cross-channel marketing strategies (paid, organic and social marketing). A proven track record of leading customer acquisition and retention with a focus on long-term growth.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth for scaling businesses in competitive markets, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior.
- Experience leading and scaling high-performing, cross-functional teams. Proven ability to mentor, manage, and grow marketing professionals across diverse functions and seniority.
- Strong proficiency in using data and analytics to ‘deep dive’ on challenges to help guide business decisions.
- Demonstrated bias for action, with a proven ability to execute rapidly, take ownership, and drive initiatives from concept to completion. Known for decisiveness, pragmatic problem-solving, and the ability to pivot quickly in response to market demands.
- Highly credible with the ability to work with senior leadership, inform and support decision making by leveraging your deep expertise in growth marketing.
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not required
